Results of the Call for Project Ideas for
the Launch of New Media or Communication Centers
Third Edition – 2020/2021

 

With much pleasure and gratitude, we announce the results of our third yearly Call for Project Ideas.

We would like to thank everyone who participated. We were incredibly excited to read through all of your ideas and were left impressed with the creative, innovative projects that you submitted.

We stand by our commitment to support those that use media for a culture of peace and recognize the importance of education in doing so. For this reason, we are proud to announce that we will be working with universities and training centers, as well as with ideas that are based on the values of the Laudato Si’ and integral ecology.

All of the 31 remarkable project ideas, coming from every corner of Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Pacific, were received and evaluated to make the selection of the six projects we will be taking on this year.

    I wish to join you in congratulating the University of Makeni for such achievement. I am proud as a Sierra Leonean to see one of our universities among the selected few. We look forward to the project and its impact on our people and nation.
