A new audiovisual production studio in Miniature Africa, Cameroon

Fr. Aurélien Lehoun Mbea – the Director of Communication of the Diocese of Ngaoundéré – defines the Cameroonian people as “multicultural, warm and welcoming” and highlights the potential of the population, but especially the local youth by describing them as artistic and full of talents. With this new project to build an audiovisual production studio, the goal is to train the youth, bring out their talents, promote and enhance them.

Film director Estevão Ciavatta’s 3D experience, with the expert guidance of an indigenous chief, takes the viewer on an extraordinary journey through the world's largest rainforest threatened by mankind and climate change.

The purpose: to raise awareness about its breathtaking beauty, to bring people closer together, to encourage them to care for this piece of Creation.

The media training sessions taking place in the diocese of Porto Novo, Benin, are already showing signs of change in the participants.

"This training had a very strong impact, many of the attendees have already started to write reports on the diocese's website of the diocese and have created their profiles on social networks", says Mons. Aristide Gonzallo.

On March 24 we commemorate 43 years of the martyrdom of our patron, Saint Oscar Romero.

He led a life of supporting human rights and giving a voice to those who didn't have one in his country, El Salvador. He stands as an example for all communicators, as one who lived the values he professed and was willing to give his life rather than be silent in the face of injustice.
