Sofia Papi is an intern in the Project Development and Fundraising Department at SIGNIS Services Rome.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Linguistic and Intercultural mediation and is currently attending the second year of a Master in Development sciences and international cooperation. Her role at SSR is to support the Project Department in writing international projects. What prompted Sofia to focus her studies and activities on this working area is the idea of being able to give her own contribution to improve the conditions of people in need.

Since she was a child, she has always traveled a lot: she’s quickly become passionate about foreign languages and cultures and has chosen them as the main subjects in her studies since high school.

While studying, she took part in the Erasmus+ program, living and spending a semester in Nice.

Another important passion that she has grown for over 10 years is singing: she regularly attends a music school and participates in musical events by performing occasionally in some local clubs.

She listens to different musical genres, but loves to sing on Jazz and Pop rhythms.
